MC&L Blogger Charlotte is back and sharing her adventures

Wow 5 MONTHS!!!! That's how long it has been since I have written my blog so please bare with me. I have to say right now I feel very guilty after just eating a pancake with a melted cream egg as the topping courtesy of my other half. Love him.

Well what a mad few months it has been. I was successful in finding myself a new job working as an assistant relationship manager in Invoice Finance. This is a great path for my career as it opens many doors for me and gives me an array of new opportunities.

I do have to say though it was tough in that office over Christmas with chocolates and sweets absolutely everywhere! As many of my colleagues would agree with me I managed to stay extremely focused with my clean eating over the festive period and only drank once at a works do. My tolerance has reduced though as many of you MC&L members will recognize in yourselves. I didn't even drink on Christmas Day!!

To be honest though since completing MCL I am not very big into drinking any more and tend to only do so on special occasions. My main focus for staying so clean and healthy over Christmas though was for my holiday to Tenerife in January.

However, Christmas couldn't have been a harder month to stay clean!!! Trying to keep a bikini body was so testing but I did it and it was well worth it!

Tenerife, where do I start? What about with the word 'All inclusive'.

Now usually I would over indulge at these kind of places but I didn't want to undo all my hard work , so at one meal time each day I would have something "naughty" a treat and then on an evening I would enjoy a few Malibu and pineapple's, which correct me if I'm wrong, is 2 of my 5 a day surely? ha ha

I also managed to do my own 20 minute workouts each day and a good 2 hour walk with Lee so I could justify having a drink or 7, but overall it was a fantastic holiday and over all too quick!

Holiday blues... Well they were quite serious. I found myself not being able to get back into the gym, healthy eating or general daily clean routine for at least 3 weeks.

I was having terrible dreams after eating sugar/chocolate late at night and seemed to cause myself a lot of unpleasant stress. I also found myself on a sugar roller coaster which was having a big affect on my moods and also my emotions. I was finding I would cry at a lot of things I usually wouldn't and became very lethargic and lazy. I have slowly began to get back into things but this time round has become a struggle, I don't mind admitting.

After visiting London for Lee's birthday /valentines weekend I have to say we didn't seem to snack or eat unhealthy and I also only had a few drinks which to be honest I enjoyed. Sometimes when I'm too strict with my food or don't let my hair down and have a drink with Lee it does make him cross. I have to say since meeting Lee I have realized that I can let my hair down and enjoy myself (within reasons) and live a little.

When we were in London we did lots of sight seeing and acted like total tourists which was ace.

So with me being back on track and hoping to join the next 21 day group I am glad to be back blogging, eating clean & staying lean.

I'm looking forward to watching MC&L blossom and see the MC&L ladies creating new ideas each and every week. It's bye from me for now and Tracey will be back with you and her blog.

Good luck if you are currently taking the mission or signing up for the next one. The company name speaks for it's self if you join there Mission your life will be clean and lean with the odd treat you deserve.

Have a great weekend and look forward to catching up with you all soon.

Love Charlotte x
